Pigment-based inks have greater light fastness, greater resistance to ozone, and greater resistance to humidity and water than dye-based inks. The new micro-density pigment found in FPG2 yields increased color gamut while maintaining the longevity characteristics of pigment inks. In comparison to Mutoh’s original FPG inks used in FJ, SJ, and XJ models, FPG2 inks print better reds and greens.
