You'll need to make a small hole in each end of this Mutoh Encoder Strip to attach to the screw or spring and cut it down to match the size of the old one. However, it is a good alternative solution to using Lavaink Encoder Strip at 30% the price than using the original encoder strips.
The warranty will be void if Lavaink label at this encoder strip was removed!!! Use sharp knife to cut a small rectangle.
Please try this cut at the same end of encoder strip because I give you enough long to cut.
After you are confident, and you can cut the real hole.
Should keep the same length as your old one.
